Automatic Stacking Machine with Stack Aligner Brusher

The MAC High Speed Stacker with Stack Aligner Brusher (HSS w SAB) automatically stacks parted cast or continuous plates (lugs in or lugs out) at speeds up to 55 m (180 ft) per minute. Using Control/Compact Logix with Panel View Plus the MAC High Speed Stacker reads the number of plates in a stack to achieve the desired stack height. Once the proper stack height has been achieved, the stack is lowered to the conveyor and indexed to the aligner. The stacks index into the aligner fixtures, then the fixtures rotate 90° then the aligner taps and shuffles the stacks until they are aligned. They are then indexed into the brusher in which the two stations brush the sides, bottom, and lugs. Motorized brushes (programmable on/off) are used for the sides and bottom, and static brushes are used on the lug side to prevent possible damage. The stacks are then indexed into position to be palletized manually or with the MAC Automatic Unload and Rack Handling System. (sold separately)
