The optaMAC Oven, available in gas or electric, features a standard 7036 mm (277 in) heated section utilizing 100% convection heat.
Upper and lower ducts use forced convection heat to dry the top and bottom surfaces of the pasted plate without over drying the plate’s center. A 1,750 CFM power-assisted exhaust increases drying efficiency and maintains negative pressure inside the oven. This results in a cooler ambient temperature outside the oven and less distribution of lead into the factory air.
When the surface-dried plates exit the oven they are fed to a MAC High Speed Stacker with In-Line Aligner, a MAC High Speed Stacker with Stack Aligner Brushing, or shingled horizontally onto an *optional 3 m (10 ft) off-bearing conveyor attached to, and driven by the oven.
