Date: December 9, 2022
As announced in November, MAC Engineering and Inbatec have reached an agreement for MAC Engineering to stock spare parts for the Inbatec systems. This agreement’s main intent is to make these parts more easily accessible for their United States customers. This will be extended to Kustan systems as more are installed in North America.
In our agreement, MAC will purchase these parts from Inbatec, and will resell them to all United States customers. Your company will be able to order directly from, will be invoiced by, and pay for shipping from MAC. Your company will also be able to pay MAC directly in United States dollars without the hassle of a fluctuating exchange rate.
In the past each United States customer would have to pay custom and duties for each shipment from Inbatec. In most cases, this was done as a separate line item but still included in the overall price. Now, for simplicity, this will be included in the price of the part. In the end, this will increase the price of the part, but eliminate the line item for custom and duties.
As of January 1, 2023, your company can send any quote requests and orders directly to MAC Engineering. We will be using the same part numbers Inbatec currently uses except we will add an IN- in front of the part numbers. (For example, 1003071 will now be IN-1003071).
Thank You,
