Plate Preparation in One System

Pasted panel parting, lug cleaning (brushed and/or milled) and panel stacking are combined into one efficient operation. Consisting of a MACvac Feeder, a MAC XL200 Parter, and a MAC Single Plate Stacker this system is designed to handle formed panels while reducing lead-in-air when connected to the proper air removal system. All controls are user friendly and easily accessible. The XL 200 Plate Prep System brushes the lugs with wire brushes prior to parting. Then independently adjustable circular knives part and clip accurately with minimal dust while the outer lug knives “shear cut” the plate lugs. The stacker’s electronics allow the machine to read the number of plates in a stack and to pause the flow while the stack is gently indexed, without having to stop the movement of the plates. Knife and brush replacement only requires removal of mounting screws, which can be changed in 15 minutes or less. Clear plastic hoods allow viewing of machine operations while containing lead dust. Should any of the plastic panels be lifted while the machine is in operation, safety switches automatically stop the machine. Dust collection drawers are located below the brushing/cutting knives on the parter for easy cleanout.
